AHE Hydraulic 1650 kg Automatic Roll Upending Machine with Power Roller Conveyor and Take Off Unit Guarding and Control System S/n 61109 (2001) Standort: Germany Zustand: GUT UNWIND UNIT: Two Unwind assemblies are supplied, each with the following features, integrated into the machine assembly:

1. Shaftless hydraulic operated lift arms fitted with pneumatic chucks – 1 pair 152mm. (6”). 1 pair 76mm (3”) supplied to be interchangeable. Chucks inflate automatically on machine start. Maximum lift capacity 2000Kg.

2. Arms pneumatically driven in tandem to enter core and position roll on centreline of machine. 100mm clearance per side on 1600mm wide roll when fully open.

3. Back tension by enclosed pneumatic disk brake controlled by an electro-pneumatic regulator fed from an ultrasonic diameter sensor processed by the PLC. Tension value is set on the computer display.

4. Unwind capable of unreeling clockwise and anti-clockwise direction (over
the top and underneath winding).

5. Pre end-of-roll warning by rotation comparator. Warns operator when roll end is approaching allowing inspection for roll set etc. The length of material left on core to activate warning can be set on the computer display.

6. Constant speed unwind nip roller drive pulls off from Unwind roll and matches cutting rate. The speed required is automatically matched to the machine speed by the control system.

7. Joining table with vacuum bed and cutting guide for double-sided butt join.

8. Unwind web is steered by centre pivot frame driven by electrical linear actuator controlled by a web edge sensor. This system minimises the stress on the web and reduces the risk of creasing.

9. Dancer roller assembly provides constant load to intermittent drive rollers and provides processed trim signal to unwind drive via the control system. Dancer arm limits act as web break sensors and stop machine if activated.
